It is a real privilege to welcome you to Al Ain British Academy.

One of our greatest strengths is our culture and strong sense of community. This is a school where people know one another, where relationships matter and where pupils, staff and families feel part of something shared. That sense of belonging sits at the heart of who we are.

Choosing a school is an important decision for any family. Academic success matters, of course, but so do the experiences, values and relationships that shape a young person. At Al Ain British Academy, we want our pupils to feel happy, secure and known, while also being challenged to work hard, aim high and make the most of their abilities.

We are proud to offer a British education in the heart of Al Ain. Our school reflects both the traditions of British education and the culture, values and ambitions of the UAE. We want our pupils to be confident in who they are, respectful of others and well prepared for life in a diverse and changing world.

I believe that education should open doors. It should help children become curious, resilient and thoughtful. It should give them the confidence to try new things, learn from setbacks and discover where their interests and talents lie.

Academic achievement will always be an important part of life at our school, but education is about much more than examination results. Through sport, music, drama, art, leadership, service and the many opportunities available beyond the classroom, our pupils develop the confidence and character they will need in the future.

Strong schools are built on strong relationships. We want our pupils to feel that they belong, our staff to feel trusted and supported, and our parents to feel closely involved in their children’s education. When schools and families work well together, children benefit.

Our aim is to build on our strong foundations while continuing to improve, develop and respond to the needs of our community. We remain ambitious for every pupil and committed to ensuring that each child has the opportunity to flourish.

I hope that, when you visit us, you will see a school that is warm, ambitious and full of purpose. Most of all, I hope you will see a community in which young people are encouraged to succeed, contribute and grow.

I look forward to welcoming you to Al Ain British Academy.

FAQ’s

Al Ain British Academy is proud to offer The English National Curriculum. Students work towards the I/GCSE qualifications before progressing to A Level – two of the most rigorous, reliable and highly regarded examinations available. The subjects taught include vocational options, which offer students a clear pathway to further education or their chosen career. A Level, like I/GCSE qualifications, are recognised worldwide by leading universities, helping students gain access to their preferred university in Britain or elsewhere abroad. As a result, the English National Curriculum is popular among expatriate families travelling between countries.

Our students have consistently produced outstanding results in their external examinations, with better results each year. We are immensely proud of our student’s attainment; the class of 2020 achieved some of the highest results in the UAE and significantly surpassed the UK average.
